    REGULAR CMA MEETINGS

    The entire Chicago Metropolitan Association meets twice each year. Every Fall we have a program meeting with speakers and/or workshops. Every Spring we have our annual business meeting which includes reports, elections and resolutions.

    Our future meetings are currently scheduled as follows:

  • May 1, 2010 at Kenwood United Church of Christ in Chicago, Rev. Leroy Sanders, Pastor

  • October 16, 2010 at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, Rev. Otis Moss III, Pastor

  • May 7, 2011: to be determined

  • October 15, 2011 at First Congregational Church of LaGrange, Rev. Dr. Richard Wolf, Pastor

    Illinois Conference Annual Meeting will be held this year on June 18 & 19, 2010 at the University of Illinois in Chicago at the Student Center East, 750 South Halsted St, Chicago IL 60607. Registration materials will be available after Easter.
  • CMA Association Council

    The Association Council meets on the third Monday of each month except July and August from 6-9 pm. Dinner is served at 6:00 pm. The Rev. Avena Ward is CMA Moderator.

    CMA Church and Ministry Committee

    Church and Ministry meets on the second Thursday of each month (except in the summer) at 10:00 am at St. Peter's UCC in Elmhurst. Bring your own lunch. Marta Mendoza is Chair.

    CMA Church in Society Committee

    Church in Society meets on the second Tuesday evening of each month except July and August at various locations. The Rev. Roger Dart is Chair.

    CMA Congregational Life Committee

    Congregational Life Committee meets from time to time as agreed. Rev. Michael Montgomery and Rev. Paul Ford are Co-Chairs

    Chicago Religious Leadership Network 20th Anniversary Fiesta - April 10

    The CRLN network of laity, clergy, activists, congregations, faith communities, and many other partners have been working to advance peace, justice and human rights in this hemisphere for twenty years! To celebrate, weÕre throwing a party, with music, food, dancing - all the things you expect at a celebration like this. All thatÕs missing is you!

    There are two other ways you can help us celebrate:

    1. Nominate a person or organization for CRLN's Human Rights Champions award, to be recognized at the Fiesta. For more information or to nominate someone, go to www.crln.org/human_rights_champions. Nominations are due by March 1st.
